A dear friend of ours here at SmallFirmSuccess.org, Lindsey (nee Kimber) Olson is also a member of the Minnesota National Guard. Ct. Olson has been in Iraq for the last year or so with the 34th Combat Aviation Brigade as their International Law Officer and Brigade Trial Counsel. Lindsey has taught a number of CLEs for us on the Minnesota CLE side on Military Law and how small firm practitioners find themselves working with military law in their daily practices. While in Iraq, Lindsey has been posting to a blog for John Marshall Law School about her experiences in Iraq: The Fighting JAG Blog. She has kindly approached us about doing some posting for Small Firm Success too, so look forward to hearing from Lindsey about being a military lawyer in Iraq and probably on some Military Law topics of general interest to the small firm practitioner. - Peter H.
