One of the things that happens when people know you are a lawyer, they want to to get involved, whether it is the PTA, church counsel, or a local planning board.  People look up to us to take leadership which particularly if there is a contentious.  Erika Allen has some great tips about how to effectively lead when there is controversy.

  • Get personal
  • Pull the sting
  • Step aside
  • Take it outside
