Scientific American has an excellent article that has been getting a lot of buzz on Twitter:  The Legal Brain:  How Does the Brain Make Judgments about Crimes?

The article summarizes a recent study published in the December 2008 issue of the journal Neuron, lead by Joshua Buckholtz of Vanderbilt University into the the neural mechanisms that let you decide whether someone is guilty or innocent.

This is a must read for anyone practicing in the Criminal Law area:  The Legal Brain:  How Does the Brain Make Judgments about Crimes?

I would love to hear the comments of any criminal law practitioners who have read the article.  Does it change how you might want to approach a case with a jury?
