Top 10 Mistakes on LinkedIn

A lot of lawyers have been getting on LinkedIn.  LinkedIn was built to be a professional social networking site - Facebook for the employed and networking adult.  Like anything, it can be done well or poorly.

1. Unprofessional photo
2. Not using a custom URL.
3. Incomplete employment history
4. Not listing your specific URLs

6. Not adding your LinkedIn profile address to your email signature
7. No recommendations
8. Incomplete educational information
9. Neglecting your connections
10. Not monitoring the answers component
