Microsoft Office 10 Web Apps

The vast majority of laywers are using Word and the Microsoft Office Suite.  One of the really nice things about the Office 2010 is how it provides you with a means of access to your documents and editing them over the Web.

Microsoft has ported four of its most popular programs to being Web Apps:  Word, PowerPoint, Excel and OneNote.  This makes life so much easier when one is either traveling or needing to collaborate with others.  You don't need to be at your desk, you don't even need to be on a computer with Office 2010.  All you need is a computer with Internet access and a web browser - and you can get that pretty much anywhere:

This even has some folks asking whether one even needs the Microsoft Desktop Applications any more.  I think the answer to that is, "Yes," but it is not hard to imagine that day coming looking at how slick the Microsoft implementation of an "in the cloud" Office suite.
