Clipmate - Clipboard on Steroids

Why is Clipboard so lame?  You can’t see what you’ve copied let alone go back to something you previously copied, MUCH LESS edit anything you copied.  Clipmate has been my solution for ages now.

It is from the Thronsoft company and is well worth its now $34.95 price tag if for no other reason than the ability to go back to something you copied earlier, even days earlier, and paste it.

There are so many things that Clipmate allows you to do – save, edit, and organize what you’ve pasted to the clipboard.  For example, I regularly use it to strip out non-text characters so that I can past a pure text (sans-formatting) version of what I have copied.

Here is a screen shot.  Normally Clipmate resides on the tool bar (outlined with the smaller red square at bottom) where it sits quietly remembeirng everything you've copied.  If you click on Clipmate in the toolbar, you can pop up the larger Clipmate Window which allows considerable editing options and let's you browse what you've copied, including actual pictures of graphics as well as text.
