Clipdiary - Another Windows Clipboard Enahancement

In the continuing saga of "Why is Clipboard so Lame?," employment law, work comp, personal injury and civil litigation attorney Charles J. Cochran, Jr. from Northeast Ohio, has Twittered me recommending Clipdiary as a Clipboard enhancement.

Clipdiary is far more stripped down than Clipmate that I use.  Indeed, Clipmate does so much it is almost too much - it is really a little word processor of a Clipboard replacement.  Clipdiary takes is clean and simple.  It is just a history of what you've copied that is available at a keystroke so that you can go back to something you copied prior to what you've just copied.  Here's a screen-shot of what Clipdiary looks like when you call it up:

Pretty darned simple and very useful.  If it did one thing more, I would be tempted to switch - it does not appear to give you the option of stripping out non-text characters from something I've copied.  That is a feature of Clipmate that I use all the time - particularly if quoting something from a website.  It allows me to paste the text I want to copy without all the accompanying formatting which invariably messes up whatever document I am working on.

Charles, thank you for the recommendation.  It is a good one.  Those of you looking for a simple, efficient, and stripped-down improvement over Clipboard, Clipdiary is a good place to start looking and the price is right:  free!  Clipdiary is made by Softvoile.
