Don Nichols sent the following article following up on his thoughts about the future of trial presentation being multitouch screens. Don points out that Microsoft is investing heavily multitouch technology: Microsoft Leads $24 Million Round in N-Trig to Bring Multitouch to PCs. Microsoft's new operating system, Windows 7 (which is available in a downloadable public beta) is incorporating multitouch features. As multitouch moves more and more into the mainstream of the operating system, it will become the de facto standard for presentations. The lawyers who get into this early, however, will also get the benefit of wowing the juries. Below is a video demonstrating Windows 7 Multitouch features from and earlier alpha/beta version of the operating system.
