3BView Survey on Mobile Device Usage

I was contacted by 3BView, a company that makes a metadata removal software.  They are conduction a survey to try to better understand how lawyers are using handheld devices like Blackberries, iPhones, PDAs, and Netbooks.  I find this an intriguing subject because these devises are getting to be more like handheld computers than cell phones.

Over 40% of the drives sold on eBay have data on them.  I'm actually surprised that number is not higher and probably would be with the use the simplest of undelete/unformat programs.  How are you going to protect client confidences when you take computers and hardrives out service?
