In these days of Madoff and Petters ponzi scheme frauds, it is refreshing to see some honesty from a fraudster. You have probably gotten more than your share of those 419 scam letters - you know, the a wealthy foreigner needs your help to move a great sum of money out of a third-world country and is willing to pay you a percentage....you know the scam. Here's a purported IM conversation between Mike Nash and a 419 scammer:
Mike Nash: Let me guess? You have millions of dollars you want to give me. But I won't get it. Instead, you will rip me off with advanced fee fraud. MRD: You are right. MN: Well, appreciate the honest. MRD: You are welcome. Pleasure chatting with you. MN: Good luck in finding an idiot. MRD: Thanks man Who knows, this could be faked pretty easily, I'd like to think it is real though! Here's the link to the purported screen grab of the IM conversation. - Peter H. Berge
