I just arrived at the ACLEA/ALE-ABA Critical Issues Summit: Equipping Our Lawyers:  Law School Education, Continuing Legal Education,and Legal Practice in the 21st Century.  Yeah, it's a mouthful but it looks to be a fascinating conference in the wake of the Carnegie Report Educating Lawyers:  Preparation for the Profession of Law.  The Critical Issues Summit is gathering Law Professors/Administrators, CLE professionals, CLE regulators, and Judicial Officers in an attempt, at least in my estimation, to talk about the practicalities and realities of taking legal education into the 21st Century.  I am greatly looking forward to learning and contributing.
